• How to produce virgin coconut oil (VCO) in a centrifuge?
  • Crown Machinery has committed to developing various kinds of centrifuge for virgin coconut oil (VCO) manufacturing and processing for decade. There are three ways to produce VCO: the dry process, the wet process and fermentation process.
  • What is a coconut oil centrifuge used for?
  • The oil centrifuge is used to separate liquid and solid mixtures with different densities, as coconut oil products, separate the mixture into water, oil and residue. Monitoring and adjustment of power, parameters setting and safety devices. Control the system clean the separation components automatically.
  • How is coconut oil made?
  • The manufacturing process of this oil includes extracting oil from copra or dried coconut meat and steaming it to remove the natural aroma of coconut. Some refined coconut oils are partially hydrogenated. Hence, they contain trans-fat that cause cardiovascular diseases.
  • How is MCT 0il obtained?
  • MCT 0il can be obtained in two ways: MCT is produced from coconut oil by hydrolysis esterification process, in which molecular distillation is an important core process. Use fatty acid C8C10 as raw material to directly generate MCT through esterification reaction. MCT oil finds many applications in cosmetics.
  • How do you process coconut milk & copra?
  • The wet and fermentation process is done by treating coconut milk which is extracted by squeezing the coconut meanwhile in the dry process, dried coconut meat or copra is processed to extract the VCO. Crown Machinery has mastered all three processes and supplies relevant equipment for a complete processing line.
  • What is refined coconut oil?
  • Refined coconut oil is the processed coconut oil that does not contain any impurities. It is more precisely called RBD coconut oil. RBD stands for refined, bleached, and deodorized. Therefore, refined coconut oil has a neutral scent and flavor. The smoke point of refined coconut oil is higher than that of unrefined coconut oil.
