The extruder operates as follows. An electric motor with a frequency converter turns shaft 2, on which is mounted sleeve 3 with helical attachments. The oil-rich material (rapeseed, milk thistle, mustard) is loaded in hopper 1 and passes to extrusion chamber 4, where it is intensively ground and heated by steam supply through sprayers 5.
