The core components of a screw oil press are the screw shaft and the spiral blades. When oilseeds are fed into the press, the rotating screw shaft pushes the seeds towards the pressing chamber. As the seeds move through the chamber, the pressure exerted by the rotating spiral blades increases, ultimately forcing the oil out of the seeds.
